A duo created in East Germany at the beginning of the post-Berlin Wall era, Modeselektor alone represents a whole section of the history of contemporary electronic music. A two-headed protean hydra composed of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, thinking heads of the Monkeytown label (Mouse On Mars, Omar Souleyman, FJAAK, Howling...), of the late 50Weapons and members of Moderat, Modeselektor is a musical UFO, both creative and visionary, who always hits the bull's eye and never gets old, even after almost 25 years of career.
