M I M I

M I M I is a versatile DJ and transdisciplinary artist based in Brussels. Born in Lusaka, she arrived in Belgium at a young age and has since made a name for herself on the Belgian scene. Her work is motivated by an ongoing conversation with nature, drawing inspiration from the boundaries between the natural world and the one created by humans. She explores the paradoxical relationship between classical music and clubbing, all infused with experimental soundscapes, percussion and rhythms from her African heritage.
