Based at the foot of the mountains of the Chaîne des Puys, Jolly Joseph and Doctor Charty have been crafting authentic roots/rocksteady reggae sounds inspired by the genre's great masters from the BAT Records Studio. The duo distinguishes themselves with their unwavering mixing technique, known as 'Hardmix', complemented by their soaring vocal performances. Scheduled to release their fourth album in October 2023 and bolstered by extensive live performances alongside drummer Jahno, the Dub Shepherds have earned acclaim for their mastery in both producing and performing this historical roots and dub music.
