Uffie is the 22-year-old Miami born electro star Anna-Catherine Hartley who is now based in Paris, releasing her music on Ed Banger records. Introduced to the music world after being featured on her then boyfriend DJ Feadz's tracks, she decided to continue in the business, releasing tracks on various Ed Banger compilations and collaborating with Justice on a track on their Cross album. Her debut 2010 album is entitled Sex Dreams And Denim Jeans, and uses the Paris electro sound, exploiting it to its full pop/r&b possibilities. With focus on synthetic beats and manipulated vocals, these are songs for hot dancing, hot dance floors and even hotter dancers.
